I. Account Management
Account Creation and Verification
Accounts are created after payment and fraud screening. Users are required to provide an email address of a non-registered domain as the primary contact email and ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the email and domain contact information. Otherwise, adverse consequences such as domain name registration failure may occur, for which the company is not responsible. For high-risk transactions (such as dedicated server purchases), a government-issued identification and credit card scan are required. Orders that do not meet the requirements may be rejected as fraud. The authorized owner of the account is the credit card holder or owner of the payment account.
If verification or modification of contact information is necessary, you can contact the sales team via email. Providing false information will result in account termination.
Dedicated IP Allocation
In addition to dedicated IP orders within the hosting package, additional applications need to meet the IP justification requirements, and the company will adjust the justification approach based on the policies of the American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN). It has the right to reject applications due to insufficient justification or current IP utilization.
Transactions with Third Parties
Transactions with third-party providers are conducted solely between the user and the provider. The company does not act as any agent. The use of third-party products is subject to their license agreements and additional restrictions by third parties. Users confirm the transaction terms by themselves. The company does not guarantee the quality of third-party services, and users bear the transaction risks by themselves.
II. Content Regulations
Legal Use Requirements
The service is only for legal purposes and is subject to the relevant laws of the local server. Users are required to compensate for any claims arising from the use of the service.
Copyright and Trademark Infringement Prohibition
Copyright and trademark infringement is strictly prohibited, including unauthorized copying or sale of copyrighted works and counterfeit goods. Violation will result in immediate account termination. Accounts that infringe copyright will be deleted or access to related materials will be prohibited. Multiple violations will result in the suspension or termination of hosting services. If users believe their copyright or trademark has been infringed, they can send an email and the required information to [email protected]. Issues related to licensing may require further documentation.
The following are some examples of materials that are not allowed on various servers:
- Shared and Reseller Servers: Topsites, IRC scripts/bots, proxy scripts/anonymizers, pirated software/Warez, image hosting scripts, spam scripts, commercial audio streaming (more than two streams), investment websites (various illegal or high-risk types), unauthorized sale of controlled substances, lottery/gambling websites, hacker-related websites, etc.
- VPS and Dedicated/Co-location Servers: Abuse of IRCD, pirated software/Warez, IP scanners, mail bombers/spam scripts, investment websites (various illegal or high-risk types), lottery/gambling websites, hacker-related websites, etc.
System Monitoring and User Responsibility
The service is only for authorized users. The company has the right to monitor the system for various legal purposes, including authorization, management, prevention of unauthorized access, and security verification. During monitoring, information may be inspected, recorded, and copied. Accounts that connect to networks or systems of third parties without authorization will be suspended. Users need to obtain written consent from third parties to access networks or systems not directly controlled. The company may require users to provide authorization documents.
The company has the right to delete or disable non-compliant materials. Users need to reply to the abuse department email within 24 hours; otherwise, the service will be suspended or terminated. Abuse issues are handled through trouble tickets/emails and replied within 48 hours.
Hosted websites are subject to local laws and regulations. Generally, defamatory materials are not actively dealt with unless there is a court order. Contents involving child pornography and other harm to minors are strictly prohibited. Violation will result in the suspension or termination of the account and reporting to law enforcement agencies.
Users are required to ensure the security of scripts/programs and correct directory permissions in the account (it is recommended that most directory permissions be 755 or stricter). They are responsible for account operations. Using weak passwords will result in account suspension. The company has the right to require users to change.
The company does not follow HIPAA standards. Users are responsible for the privacy and security of sensitive data. Storing health information is prohibited. Otherwise, the account will be terminated. The company does not assume any HIPAA-related role. Users with questions about data security can contact the company through the website.
III. Spam Policy
Sending unsolicited emails, bulk emails, and spam will result in account termination. Relevant lists are considered spam. Websites advertising through spam cannot be hosted. Various channels of spam are not allowed. Websites of organizations/entities listed in ROKSO cannot be hosted. Accounts that cause the company's IP space to be blacklisted will be suspended or terminated. The company has the right to require changes or disabling of non-compliant components and has the right to charge a cleanup fee to non-compliant accounts.
IV. Payment and Billing
Payment Information
Users are required to make payment in advance for the service and comply with the law. The payment is used for the earliest invoice. The service is billed regularly. To cancel the service, a written request needs to be created at https://my.netjeet.net, and the user will be notified after confirmation. Users should receive the confirmation information in a timely manner. If not received, they should contact the company by phone. To cancel the service, it needs to be operated through the email of the account owner to confirm the identity and readiness and reduce the risk of errors.
Users are required to ensure that the payment information is up-to-date and invoices are paid on time. There is a 10-day grace period. If overdue, a 10% late fee will be incurred and the account will be suspended. Access cannot be restored until payment is made in full.
After paying the domain name fee, a support ticket needs to be created at https://my.netjeet.net to notify the billing department. Domain name renewal reminders are only courtesy and the company is not responsible for non-renewal. No refund will be given after renewal. Overpaid invoices are treated as account credit. No refund can be made through PayPal. The company has the right to change monthly payments and other fees.
Regular Credit Card Billing
For automatic billing, the deduction will be made 4 days in advance. If the deduction fails, a notification will be sent and another attempt will be made. Users can remove the stored credit card information in the client portal to disable automatic billing.
V. Backup and Data
Backup services are run every other day and only one-week backups are retained for preventing hardware failures. Users bear the data risk and need to back up files and data by themselves. Dedicated server users can arrange backup solutions with the company.
VI. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation and Restrictions
The company has the right to cancel, suspend or restrict accounts at any time. Affected by exchange rate fluctuations, different services have different refund guarantee periods: 60 days for virtual servers, 7 days for virtual private servers, and 1 day for dedicated servers, calculated from the purchase date. No refund requests will be accepted after 30 days. After submitting a refund request, it will be processed within 30 days.
The following situations are not eligible for refunds: account termination due to violation of terms, disputes initiated, use of certain payment methods (such as bank wire transfer, etc.), payment of specific fees (such as service fees and setup fees, etc.), non-first-time registration accounts, account balances, virtual currencies.
Resource Usage Restrictions
Users cannot excessively use system resources. There are various specific restrictions, such as using more than 50% of system resources for more than 60 seconds, running specific processes or software, participating in file sharing/peer-to-peer activities, etc.
VII. Bandwidth Usage
There is a monthly bandwidth limit. When the limit is exceeded, the company has the right to suspend the account, require the purchase of more bandwidth, upgrade the package or charge an excess fee. Unused bandwidth for the current month will not be carried forward.
VIII. Service Guarantee
Refund Guarantee
Different services have different refund guarantees and conditions. Violation will result in the loss of the right to a refund. See the Cancellation and Refunds section for details.
Uptime Guarantee
The uptime guarantee for virtual servers is 99.7%. Downtime can apply for proportional account credits. For dedicated servers, it is 99.9%. The approval of credits is determined by the company. Third-party monitoring reports may not be accepted. Uptime has different definitions and measurement standards.
IX. Reseller Responsibility
Resellers are responsible for customer support and content liability. When customers contact the company, the account may be suspended. Resellers are responsible for customer behavior.
X. Server Regulations
Shared/Semi-Dedicated Servers
Shared accounts cannot be resold. Semi-dedicated server users need to maintain backups by themselves. The company does not provide backup services.
Dedicated Servers
The company has the right to reset passwords for security audits. Users are required to ensure that the server has a valid email and root password. The company has the right to review and perform management operations. Users are responsible for maintaining backups.
XI. Pricing and Promotions
The hosting price remains unchanged after purchase. The company can adjust prices and resources. Coupons are only available for the first purchase. Abuse will be reviewed or the account will be suspended.
XII. Indemnification and Arbitration
Users are required to indemnify the company for claims, damages, etc. arising from the user's service or product. Disputes involving the company are arbitrated by the company's selected arbitrator. Arbitration is conducted by selecting lawyers or retired judges from arbitration associations or national arbitration forums. Users bear the arbitration costs.
XIII. Disclaimer
The company is not liable for business damages caused by the user's use of the service and does not provide service guarantees. Users are required to back up data by themselves. Although the company will take certain data security measures, it cannot ensure absolute data security. The company is not responsible for any problems caused by data security or loss.
XIV. Information Disclosure
User information can be disclosed upon the request of law enforcement agencies and negative experiences of users to third-party institutions.
XV. Privacy Policy
Data Collection and Use
Personal and usage data is collected, and Cookies, etc. are used for services and marketing. Users can opt out and set Cookie preferences.
Data Processing and Retention
User data is processed and retained based on different situations. Cross-border transfer requires user consent to ensure data security. Users have data rights under GDPR and need to verify their identity. Complaints can be made to the data protection agency.
Service providers have limited use of user data and use third-party analytics services. Users can partially opt out of data sharing.
Payment and Third-Party Links
Third-party payment processors are used and their privacy policies are followed. Users are responsible for links to third-party websites.
Children's Privacy
It is not for children and does not intentionally collect children's information. If found, it will be deleted. Users can contact the company for processing.
Policy Updates
We will update the privacy policy from time to time and will not notify users. Users should check it regularly.
